Are you licensed?

Simply House Clearances are fully licensed by the enviroment agency, it is a legal requirement that any company carrying customers household waste must carry a waste carriers license. Our waste carriers number is EAN/960245.

What items do you take away?

Simply House Clearance will take away all your unwanted items and recycle them, we do not arrive and just take away the easy and valuable items. We empty and clear all the contents from cupboards, draws, cellars, attics, garages, sheds, greenhouses etc. Nothing is left behind unless our customers advise us to leave certain items.

Do you take electrical appliances away?

Simply House Clearances can remove and dispose of all fridges/freezers, televisions, basically any electrical item that is the household, Simply House Clearances can dispose of it according to WEEE regulations.

Do I need to be at the property while it is being cleared?

No, our customers do not need to be at the property, we can clear the house if you are present or not. If you can be at the property to allow us access then we can have a quick discussion about the clearance. Ask if there are any items which need to be left in the house. Once we have spoken, you are free to go and visit family or friends while we clear your house. We will simply call you once the clearance has been completed. If you can not make it to the property, then simply leave the door key with a neighbour We will clear the property and lock the house once we have completed the clearance.

How long does it take to clear a house?

Generally a house will take between 3 and 6 hours, depending on size of the property and how cluttered the property is. 99% of all clearances will be completed in the day, but if we feel it may take more than one day, we will advise you of this when we give you the quote.

Do you recycle my items?

Simply House clearances endeavour to recycle as much furniture as possible, we donate all good quality, clean useable furniture to local charities, all clothes, metal, wood, plastics are recycled at local waste recycling transfer stations. We also recycle all eletrical items.

Do you clean our house after the clearance?

 Simply House clearances always sweep and hoover all the floors, we hoover all carpets & skirting boards once we have cleared the property. We even sweep all shed/garage & outhouse floors. This service is part of our clearance quote, but if you require a ' deep clean '  we can arrange a quote for you, this is generally complete by a local cleaning company who we will arrange a time and a price. We can arrange all this for you.

Is your Clearance quote a fixed price?

Simply House clearances always gives a fixed clearance price. When you recieve a quote from us, the price you get is the price you pay. There will be NO add on's unlike some of our competitors.
